Fire Department – Fire Investigator

Applicants for this job shall possess the following attributes:

— Be at least 18 years of age

— Be in good physical condition and able to pass a health department physical

— Able to pass a drug screen

— Possess a valid driver’s license

Roles and Responsibilities:

— Install Nexus fire alarms as requested

— Perform inspections of city buildings and new/existing businesses to ensure compliance to the fire code

— Perform fire suppression and technical rescue activities as available

Experience with the Nexus Fire Alarm System is preferred for this position, but we are willing to train!
