K-9 Unit Duties:
- Conduct searches for narcotics, explosives, or firearms.
- Assist in locating and apprehending suspects.
- Perform search and rescue operations for missing persons.
- Support patrols and ensure officer safety.
- Conduct building searches and area sweeps.
- Engage in community outreach and K-9 demonstrations.
- Train with K-9 partner regularly for optimal performance.
- Track fleeing suspects or evidence trails.
