As a Medic you will provide essential medical care and support in emergency and routine settings. Your primary responsibilities include assessing patient health, administering first aid and basic medical treatments, and assisting in the transport of patients to healthcare facilities. You will work closely with emergency response teams, ensuring efficient and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to medical emergencies and provide initial assessment and care.
- Administer first aid, basic life support, and other medical interventions as required.
- Assist in the transport of patients, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Maintain medical equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for use.
- Document patient information, treatments provided, and outcomes accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and emergency personnel.
Positions with the Fire Department are subject to a paid two-week probationary period after which re-evaluation of the applicant’s placement within the department will be considered.
