The Role Play Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, guiding and helping with role play across various departments within Magnolia City. The Role Play Coordinator is a resource available to city staff and residents that can provide guidance on role play best practices, help develop characters and find ways to bring people together through meaningful interaction. The Role Play Coordinator will work closely with Directors to ensure that role play scenarios are free from metagaming, powergaming and godmodding in a collaborative manner.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate: Help city role play departments plan larger stories, ensure smooth execution and proper alignment with overarching story goals. Plan and lead city-wide stories.

Design: Collaborate with directors and residents to design and develop realistic and relevant scenes.

Facilitate: Help those interested in leading role play scenes by guiding them through best practices and offering feedback.

Coaching: Coach participants that request help with their role-playing skills.

Teamwork: Contribute to a positive, supportive environment that encourages participation with a focus on learning and collaboration.
